Larkin’s 1981 book, 'The Divine Androgyne According to Purusha,' advocated for liberation from repression with a spiritual perspective centered on eroticism, proposing a unique path to enlightenment through intense sexual experiences. The film investigates Larkin's efforts to establish a utopian community built around pleasure and spirituality, and explores the lasting impact of his ideas on queer culture.
