Description:
This docudrama chronicles the history of the Danube Swabians, descendants of 18th-century German settlers who sought a new life in Vojvodina. The film follows their journey from the initial settlement in the region, through World War II, and into the present day. It centers on Maria, a woman tracing her family history to her grandfather's exiled home in Vojvodina. There, she encounters Misha, a local who assists her in uncovering the past. Together, they travel Vojvodina, speaking with survivors of communist camps and revealing previously hidden stories about the Danube Swabians and the post-war era.
