Description:
Engineer Neven Novak, a leftist who has fled the train transporting prisoners to the Jasenovac concentration camp, returns to Zagreb. He desperately tries to rescue his son Zoran from an orphanage where the boy has been indoctrinated with fascist beliefs. Once Zoran discovers his father's opposition to the regime, he refuses to flee with him to join the Partisans. Novak must then contend with his son’s hostility and the police who are pursuing them.
