Description:
The film weaves together three stories across different eras. The central narrative follows Constantin Brancusi during his mature years in Paris, focusing on his friendship with Modigliani and his relationship with Martha, his muse. A second story centers on a Fine Arts student who faced harsh criticism in Romania, leading to his exile and imprisonment for thirteen years. Upon his release, the value of Brancusi's work has shifted in Romania, and he is now pressured by former security forces to forge Brancusi's sculptures. The third story features a scholar from 12th-century Tibet, who acts as a connection between the sculptor and the forger, linking their fates.
