Description:
The story of the women at the "House of Sharing" continues. These elderly women, united by a shared history, live a quiet life in the countryside, tending to gardens, raising chickens, and painting. They appear like ordinary seniors. However, they are all deeply affected by the pain and sorrow of their experiences as comfort women during World War 2. Back home in Korea, they faced prejudice after returning. It is agonizing for them to witness the lives of other people's children and grandchildren, and they feel anger when the Japanese government attempts to conceal the atrocities committed against them. The film reminds us of the sacrifices these women made and the shame and suffering they endured, often fading into obscurity even as they pass away.
