Description:
In 1943, during the Axis offensives in Bosnia, a column of partisans is forced to retreat across a river. While crossing, they are ambushed by Chetniks, resulting in heavy losses. Only a handful survive, including the young partisan Radojica and nurse Milica. Separated from their unit, they embark on a perilous journey through the mountains, hoping to reunite with the brigade. Their arduous trek is marked by both tragic and humorous encounters. Radojica's past imprisonment and subsequent confrontations with the Chetniks fuel his determination to find his comrades and bravely capture Chetnik detachments, including the officer responsible for the river ambush.
