The lives of two very different groups of people intersect: the privileged elite and those struggling with poverty and integrity. Sin, a spoiled young man born into wealth and power, has never learned self-reliance or responsibility. He lives a life dependent on his parents' resources, fostering arrogance and vanity. Lud, a quiet middle-aged man from the countryside, works as a motorcycle mechanic in Vientiane. He has a loving family – his wife works in the market, and they have a six-year-old daughter. Despite his simple life, Lud’s family is close-knit and warm. However, Lud unexpectedly suffers the devastating loss of his life, brought about by Sin.
