Description:
NC-17, featuring Frank Rogala, Vince Rogala, and Robin Canada, spent twenty years performing in Los Angeles and Orange County bars. Known as Exude from 1980 to 1990, they achieved college radio success with their song "Boys Just Want to Have Sex" and gained two MTV videos. In 1990, the band rebranded as NC-17, evolving their sound into a grungier style inspired by Pink Floyd. Filmmaker Dov Kelemer documented their career journey in a film that premiered on cable, at film festivals, and in select theaters. The film is now available at www.anybodylisten.com. NC-17 has since disbanded, with members relocating to different states. Lead singer Frank Rogala continues to perform in Orange County.
