Description:
100% Silk is a leading independent record label in electronic dance music. In June 2012, four of the label's artists – LA Vampires, Ital, Magic Touch, and Maria Minerva – went on a long tour across the UK, Europe, and other countries. *SILK* is a documentary that follows their performances, the cultures they encountered, and the music scenes they explored. The film visually expresses the artists’ ideas and feelings through seven choreographed dance sequences created by Mecca Vazie Andrews and the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company. *SILK* is a blend of music documentary, live concert footage, travel story, and most importantly, a dance film.
