Description:
In 17th century Assam, a young king reigned, but the real power rested with the Prime Minister. With many princes posing a constant threat to the throne, the Prime Minister initiated a campaign to eliminate potential rivals – capturing, killing, or maiming them to prevent succession. Godapani, known for his strength and vitality, became the prime target. Aware of the danger, Godapani fled to the Naga hills. Unable to find him, the Prime Minister's army, led by Gathi Hazarika, located Godapani’s wife, Joymoti. Gathi tortured her for information, but she remained silent and defiant, ultimately dying under the brutal conditions.
