Description:
Marcus, a 15-year-old survivor of multiple concentration camps, changed his name and built a life in Germany after the war. For over 80 years, he kept his past hidden until it resurfaces. Now, needing proof of his Jewish identity for burial according to tradition – the tattooed number isn't enough for the rabbis – he is accompanied by Gül, a young German-Turkish woman. She drives him to his Hungarian village of birth, where he is a stranger. Only a blind woman appears to have been waiting for him.
