Description:
"End of an Era" captures Nightwish's final concert of their "Once" album world tour, held at Helsinki's Hartwall Arena on October 21, 2005. During the show, Native American musician John Two-Hawks joined the band to perform "Stone People" before contributing vocals and cedar flutes to "Creek Mary's Blood." This performance marked the last time Tarja Turunen sang with Nightwish; she was later dismissed by the band. The concert features original Nightwish songs alongside three notable covers: Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away," Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera," and Pink Floyd's "High Hopes." The complete concert experience runs 1 hour and 43 minutes, and also includes a 55-minute documentary, "A Day Before Tomorrow," documenting the fifteen days leading up to the show, as well as a photo gallery.
