Description:
In present-day Singapore, Mai Wei (Mark Lee), a successful manager at a slimming company, is fired for prioritizing profit over customer well-being. He retaliates by starting a competing company with former colleagues, including Jie (Jeremy Chan), his wife Zu Er's (Yeo Yann Yann) brother. As the original company expands, Mai Wei launches a herbal slimming pill containing a banned substance. He selects Wang Yao Yao (Tay Yin Yin), the overweight daughter of his favorite food vendor, as the company's image representative and gives her high doses of the pills. Meanwhile, Zu Er, longing for a child after years of trying, grows convinced their misfortune is divine punishment due to her husband’s unethical business dealings.
