Description:
In 19th-century India, under British rule, the goddess Kali begins a series of murders, targeting a doctor transporting disease serum to an infected village. Concerned about the potential for widespread death if the shipment is stopped, Dr. Palmer seeks assistance from Major Talbot. The Major becomes suspicious of the doctor and he is forced to flee into the jungle, staging his own death to appear killed by a tiger. He finds refuge with Amrita, a local dancer, who shelters him and helps him escape a gang of robbers. Dr. Palmer's ordeal continues with both real and supernatural encounters until he finally finds a resolution to his troubles.
