Description:
Pam, overwhelmed by city life, meets Rico, an Ivatan man, and impulsively decides to relocate to Batanes to marry him and meet his parents, Boy and Lydia. She struggles to adjust to Ivatan customs, particularly disliking the sea, which Rico deeply loves. Her resentment grows after Rico dies in a fishing accident. Devastated, Pam initially plans to return to Manila, but a feeling that the sea mocks her grief prompts her to stay with Rico's family. While visiting the coast, she rescues Kao Ken Chu, a Taiwanese man, during a storm. Despite cultural and linguistic differences, they develop feelings for each other.
