In a remote mountain village in Iloilo, twelve-year-old Thirdy fears she can't participate in the annual Talent Show. She worries about affording a costume and the entry fee, relying on her grandfather, Cesario, for support. Cesario, a bamboo farmer struggling to make ends meet, is Thirdy’s only guardian. As the show approaches, Thirdy begins experiencing visions of a mysterious man she believes is her deceased father, but others see them as imagination. On the day of the Talent Show, long-held village issues and family secrets erupt.
