Description:
Beginning with a lighthearted look, the film then focuses on a shrimp, examining its unique features: its stalked eyes, distinctive colors, and specialized walking legs with pincers and a rostrum. We observe how the shrimp feeds, using one claw for strength and another for precision, and witness its digestive process. After feeding, the shrimp cleans itself. The female deposits eggs that attach to her legs. After three weeks, the eggs hatch in a burst of activity. Few of the larvae survive to become adults. Finally, we see an adult shrimp shed its outer shell in a risky maneuver, leaving it exposed to potential attacks from other shrimp.
