Description:
Sixteen-year-old samurai Maki Bunshirou is in love with Fuku, whose family is of high standing. He works as a page in the court while also training in swordsmanship. His life takes a turn when his father is disgraced after a failed rebellion and takes his own life to atone. Bunshirou's family is left in shame, and he is separated from Fuku, who is sent to Edo. Gradually, Bunshirou begins to rebuild his reputation. But then he hears rumors that Fuku has become a concubine to a lord in Edo.
