Description:
Following the Union victory in the Civil War, Union Major Jeff Clanton travels to Missouri with an offer: Quantrill's Raiders can gain Union acceptance by pledging allegiance. However, corrupt lawmen Joad and Fowler obstruct Clanton's efforts, hoping to profit from bounties on the Raiders' heads. After Joad and Fowler falsely accuse Clanton of murder, he escapes and is forced to become an outlaw himself.
