Description:
This is a story about the false promise of wealth in Romania. The idea of quickly becoming rich is widespread, making it seem attainable to many. The film follows two contrasting paths: a young couple, Marius and Cosmina, where Marius jokingly writes a name on a lottery ticket to cheer up Cosmina, only to unexpectedly win. The other storyline features two adults who, unfamiliar with technology, fall victim to email scams and online lottery fraud, losing their life savings. The two stories converge when, disillusioned and hopeless, they reject a final opportunity for financial gain. Ultimately, the film reveals how the illusion of wealth can lead ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances.
