Description:
Restless cowboy Lin McLean finds himself drawn to Denver and falls for a waitress named Katie. He plans to marry her and follows her back to the ranch, but a traveling rainmaker arrives in town. Katie leaves with him, revealing he is her husband. Later, Lin visits Denver for Christmas and adopts Katie's son, Billy. He then meets and falls in love with Jessamine "Jessie" Buckner, and they marry, creating a happy family. However, Katie returns, determined to win Lin back and marry him instead, driving Jessie away. Realizing Lin doesn’t love her, Katie poisons herself. Jessie returns to Lin and Billy.
