This documentary follows a group of young Russians who have sought refuge in an improvised shelter in Tbilisi, Georgia. The group includes a student couple, a singer, a journalist, a Navalny activist, a gay blogger, and a former politician – ordinary people who had no intention of leaving Russia. They are not part of a formal resistance but are dedicated to an open and democratic society. In the past six months, half a million Russians have emigrated, fleeing not military threats but increasing repression for opposing the war and engaging in civic activism. Driven from their homeland by Putin's war, they now exist as digital dissidents, searching for a new home.
