This film is inspired by the true story of Mihail Hristov, a Bulgarian Paralympic long jumper and three-time world champion. It follows Mihail as he navigates life after losing both arms in an accident, and makes the pivotal choice to pursue a career as a professional athlete, grappling with the emotional journey of rebuilding his life without limbs. The film depicts his struggles in sports, his relationships with his parents, coach, and a romantic interest, and most significantly, his fight to accept his new reality. From the accident that left him without arms, the script traces Mihail’s challenging path to becoming a triple long jump world champion, an inventor of advanced prosthetics, and a motivational speaker.
