Description:
Sasha, a Russian woman with Armenian heritage, travels to Armenia searching for the grave of her father, who died in the Karabakh War. Karabakh, formerly part of Azerbaijan, now has a significant Armenian population. During the war, Armenians sought independence from Azerbaijan, resulting in heavy casualties, including many Russian soldiers. The conflict continues to this day. The film reflects on this historical event from the early 1990s and the ongoing conflict. Opening with a quiet crossing of the border into Armenia, the director emphasizes communication between people on both sides, highlighting shared wounds rather than hostility.
