Description:
Vanessa desires a relaxing holiday at a luxurious resort, but a travel agent error lands her on a deserted island. With a week until the next ship arrives, she's stuck with Stanislav, an eccentric lighthouse keeper, and Sebastian, a laid-back man who also claims the only guest room. Trapped together, the three begin to bond over drinks and food. Their isolated existence takes a dark turn with the arrival of Felix, a suspicious businessman, and the discovery of a body in Stanislav’s cellar. The island resort becomes the setting for a darkly comedic struggle for survival. In his first film, Matthias J. Michel subverts genre expectations and character tropes to deliver a unique black comedy.
