Description:
In the quirky town of Sunny Dale, the mayor sees a chance to get rid of the troublesome Flodder family by enrolling them in an international exchange program to New York City. Adjusting to their new home, the Flodders become involved with a Russian delegation of doctors during a confusing event. This comical mix-up leads to more absurd situations as they experience American life, while their guide, Werner, unexpectedly ends up in jail. The film explores cultural differences and the difficulties of adapting to a new environment, all with plenty of physical comedy. The Flodders' antics provide laughs while showing that even amidst chaos, connection and understanding can be found.
