This documentary follows the Israeli "refusnik" movement, featuring interviews with those involved. It tells the story of six soldiers who, after years of reserve duty and combat, decide they can no longer serve in the West Bank and Gaza. Their refusal to serve as "refusniks" challenges national values and deeply impacts their lives. The film includes accounts from six of the original "Combatants’ Letter" signers, detailing their experiences that led to the decision, the resulting public reaction, and the ongoing personal consequences – including isolation, family conflict, and imprisonment – they face for refusing service.
