According to legend, after Pangu created the world, the Grand Ancestor Hongjun forged the Profound Heaven Divine Sword from heaven and earth energies to maintain cosmic stability. It protected all life from its place in the Nine Heavens. During a battle between Donghuang Taiyi and Demon Emperor Di Jun in the heavens, the sword was accidentally knocked down to the mortal realm by their combined power. The sword body was reborn as Zhou Qian, the young master of the Zhou Mansion, with no memory or spiritual power. The scabbard, carrying memories and residual power, landed in the Peach Blossom Forest and became the Peach Blossom Fairy, dedicating herself to helping humanity.
