Cabriolet (2001)

Tobiáš, a drummer for Ivan Král, also works as a garbage collector, living amidst trash cans and a landfill. There, he discovers Pavla – a delicate woman with golden hair, unconscious and with slashed wrists. A powerful, almost primal love forms between Tobiáš and Pavla. She collapses at a nightclub during a performance and is taken away on a stretcher. At the hospital, the doctor reveals Pavla has a terminal illness and is dying. Tobiáš organizes charity concerts to save her, but despite his efforts, an opportunity for fraud emerges, which ultimately fails. In this difficult time, they discover something far more significant.
