Description:
During the Yom Kippur War, on the Sinai front at the Mazakh bastion, 42 soldiers led by a young lieutenant from a religious school fight to defend themselves after a surprise Egyptian attack. Many are wounded or killed in the intense fighting. Meanwhile, in a Tel Aviv bunker, a reserve doctor desperately tries to save the wounded and requests immediate evacuation, but help doesn't arrive. After a week of siege, the soldiers face a difficult choice: obey their commander and continue fighting, or follow the doctor's plan – a plan that could potentially save them. Will they abandon their beliefs and surrender, or fight to the very end?
