Description:
Elisa hasn't seen her father, Luis, in nine years. A telegram from her sister Isabel, sent during a crisis in her marriage to Antonio, informs her that Luis is ill. Elisa travels to the countryside near Madrid with Isabel, her brother-in-law Julián, and their two children to celebrate his birthday. After Isabel returns to Madrid with her family, Elisa chooses to stay with Luis and grows closer to him, beginning to understand why he left her mother years ago. She later tells him that Antonio had an affair with their mutual friend Sophie, and their relationship is over. When Antonio unexpectedly arrives at the house, Elisa makes a decision about her future.
