Among Us (2010)

Following the colonization of Victoria in the 1830s, countless Aboriginal children were forcibly removed from their families, their land, and their culture. They were placed in foster homes and institutions, often adopted by non-Indigenous families. In 2009, members of the Stolen Generations in Victoria returned to Ballarat to visit the institutions where they had been held. This is their story, recounted in their own voices and captured by award-winning filmmaker Richard Frankland.
