Sahara Chronicle (2007)

*Sahara Chronicle* presents a collection of short videos documenting the ongoing migration from sub-Saharan Africa to Europe. The project closely examines the methods and organization of this migration through the Sahara, exploring the political forces shaping movement, visibility, and control in today's global landscape. Footage was captured during three trips to key entry points and hubs along the trans-Saharan route in Morocco, Mauritania, and Niger, where migration is concentrated. The videos offer no narration, requiring viewers to find meaning within the gaps between the images – in the unseen parts of the journey.
