Description:
Rip Smith's polling business is failing because traditional opinion polls are unreliable and expensive. He stumbles upon the town of Grandview, which statistically mirrors the entire nation. Seeing a chance, Rip and his team establish a polling operation there, benefiting from the town's peaceful atmosphere and residents' undisturbed lives. However, their work is challenged by Mary Peterman, a determined local activist who demands openness and progress. Adding to Rip's difficulties, he begins to fall for Mary. Just as they believe they've found a breakthrough, unforeseen circumstances change everything, compelling them to face reality and reconsider what's truly important.
