Description:
Pratap Kumar Srivastav travels from Shyam Nagar to Bombay in search of success. He finds a job through his father's friend, Ram Prasad, and lives in the 'Asha Manzil' Chawl in Borivali, where he befriends Gopal Mathur and falls for Gopal's sister, Maya. Pratap works hard and rises in his career, eventually winning the heart of his boss' daughter, Indrani, and becoming a Deputy General Manager. He is preparing to be engaged to Indrani when he suddenly disappears. Indrani and her father are shocked to learn that Pratap has been arrested for the alleged murder of Maya, who was pregnant. This story explores the complexities of ambition, love, and the dark side of unchecked desire.
