Description:

A cowboy arrives in town during the Christmas season and, after failing to pay for a meal at the cafe, is jailed by the owner. The townspeople, feeling guilty about a Mexican family living on Christmas Mountain – including a pregnant woman – bail him out and ask him to deliver supplies. While on the mountain, the family's young son pities the cowboy and prays for divine intervention. His prayer is answered by the unexpected arrival of an old friend, who urges him to reconsider his life and, importantly, to tell the townspeople that their charity towards the Mexicans isn't enough.
