Description:
This drama tells the story of George Kingsley, a university professor whose life changes dramatically when he's attacked by gangsters while walking. The assault causes severe brain damage, profoundly altering his life. One of the attackers, a gangster named Cannon, also becomes paralyzed. Dr. Sovac, a friend of Kingsley, treats both men. Cannon then offers a large reward for recovery. Dr. Sovac, interested in advancing medical science, decides to perform an experimental operation: transplanting part of Cannon's brain into Kingsley. This creates a merging of the two men's personalities and sets in motion events that challenge what it means to be human and raise questions about right and wrong.
