Best Value is not simply the service with the lowest redundancy. A service can have very little overlap with your other subscriptions simply because its catalog is small. Instead, we estimate how much unique value the service contributes to your overall lineup.

Services with less catalog overlap receive a higher score because they provide more content that your other subscriptions do not cover.
A larger catalog provides additional value, but this factor has deliberately limited weight so sheer catalog size cannot dominate the result.
We normalize the different measurements before combining them, so a service with a huge catalog or very high Attention does not automatically win simply because of its raw numbers. The result is designed to answer a practical question: which of your selected subscriptions gives you the most unique value?
