Description:
During their summer vacation in Tokyo in 2012, middle school student Mirai and her brother Yuuki visit a robot exhibition on Odaiba. Unbeknownst to them, their trip coincides with a major earthquake. A powerful quake is predicted to hit Tokyo within the next thirty years. As their vacation starts, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake strikes, devastating the city and collapsing iconic landmarks. Mirai and Yuuki face a difficult journey home to Setagaya, finding help from Mari, a determined motorcycle delivery woman they meet on Odaiba. Navigating the aftermath of the disaster together, the siblings’ bond deepens as they confront the harsh realities of survival.
