Description:
Italy, 1327. Franciscan monk William of Baskerville and his young apprentice Adso travel to a remote abbey in the Alps. They've been sent by the Franciscan Order to mediate a disagreement with the Pope in Avignon. But the abbey isn't as peaceful as it seems. A series of mysterious deaths unfolds, pulling William and Adso into a dangerous investigation. As they explore the abbey's secrets, they must question their own faith and the limits of their knowledge. The case forces them to confront difficult truths about belief, power, and what it means to be human.
