Description:
This satirical comedy is set in a world where strict laws against swearing have fundamentally changed society and schooling. Sixteen-year-old Tanukichi Okuma is caught in a world of censorship, rebellion, and forbidden feelings. Following the government's harsh "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising," which eliminates all vulgarity, Tanukichi attends the country's top morals school. His life changes when Ayame Kajou, the leader of a rebellious group called SOX, blackmails him into joining. As Tanukichi becomes involved in SOX’s secret acts of defiance against the perfect student council president, Anna – the girl he secretly loves – this dark comedy explores censorship, morality, and our need to speak freely.
