Description:
Sotobamura is a peaceful Japanese village of about 1300 people, tucked away in green hills and holding tight to old ways. It's remarkably isolated, with no highway connecting it to the outside world. But when three bodies are found, the village’s quiet life is shattered. Dr. Ozaki Toshio, Sotobamura's only doctor, first thinks the deaths are just bad luck. But as a strange illness spreads rapidly, claiming more lives, he's forced to consider something far more sinister. This unsettling story explores fear, the strength of community, and the clash between tradition and progress as the village fights for survival.
