Description:
This drama tells the true story of Charles Ingram, a former army major who became embroiled in a major national scandal. In the early 2000s, Ingram appeared to win £1 million on the game show *Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?*, but his victory was overshadowed by accusations of cheating that resulted in a trial. The story focuses on Ingram's calculated plan, involving his wife Diana and an accomplice, Tecwen Whittock, who was present in the studio audience. The film details their elaborate scheme, the deception involved, and the eventual unraveling of their audacious attempt to defraud the show. As Ingram's life falls apart, the movie explores themes of greed, betrayal, and the consequences of pursuing success at any price.
