Description:
The story follows Oda Nobunaga, the famed 16th-century warlord who died at the Honnouji betrayal in 1582. In his final moments, he mused about his past misdeeds and jokingly wished to be reborn as a dog. Surprisingly, Buddha grants his wish. Suddenly, Nobunaga wakes up as a Shiba Inu named Shinamon in modern Japan. This new life is a mix of amusement and annoyance for Nobunaga. He enjoys some perks, like sporting a "ruff," only to discover it's actually a bath hat. Things get complicated when he learns many of his old allies have also been reborn as dogs, while his rival is living as a human. As Nobunaga adjusts to being a Shiba Inu, he experiences life through a dog’s instincts while still retaining his warlord consciousness. This funny yet insightful story explores themes of adapting to change, finding friendship, and the search for redemption in the most unexpected way.
