Description:
Robert T. Ironside, a former Chief of Detectives, is forced into retirement after a violent assassination attempt leaves him in a wheelchair. But Ironside isn't ready to give up on justice. He becomes a consultant for the police department he once headed, partnering with the determined Detective Sergeant Ed Brown and Officer Eve Whitfield. Together, they tackle a variety of compelling cases, using their skills to find justice. The series introduces Mark Sanger, a former convict who starts as Ironside's home help but quickly becomes part of the investigation team. Later, after four years, Officer Whitfield departs, and the intelligent Officer Fran Belding joins the team. Each episode offers viewers a captivating look at crime-solving and the personal journeys of this dynamic investigative unit.
