Description:
Hanzawa Naoki is a driven, honest loan manager at the Tokyo Central Bank's Osaka Nishi branch. He’s asked by his boss, Asano, to approve a 500 million yen loan for Nishi Osaka Steel Company and, though suspicious, complies. He soon discovers the company is concealing serious financial problems with fake accounts, leading to its collapse. Three months later, as the bank faces repercussions from the failed loan, Asano attempts to blame Hanzawa. This leads to Hanzawa being summoned to headquarters in Tokyo to explain the situation. He bravely defends himself, refusing to take responsibility and determined to recover the lost 500 million yen. Hanzawa Naoki’s story explores the dark side of corporate greed, deceit, and the personal cost of fighting for what’s right in the cutthroat world of finance.
