Description:
Ecomoda is a sequel to the hit show "I am Betty, the ugly" (2001), following Armando and Betty's lives after they get married. The main story focuses on the changing relationship between Ecomoda, a fashion company, and the mysterious Hugo Lombardi, but also gives viewers enjoyable looks at the lives of their parents and introduces new characters. The series stars Jorge Enrique Abello and Ana María Orozco, along with returning cast members Julián Arango, Ricardo Vélez, Lorena Meritano, and Geoffrey Deakin. While Ecomoda was popular, it didn't reach the same level of success as the original. The absence of some familiar faces from "I am Betty, the ugly" may have played a role in this. The show ran for five months, concluding an intriguing chapter in television.
