Description:
E-Ring is a military drama about the inner workings of the Pentagon. Created by Ken Robinson and David McKenna and executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, it premiered on NBC in 2005. The E-ring, the outermost layer of the Pentagon, is where all covert US special operations are planned and approved. Major James Tisnewski, a former Delta Force operator, and Colonel Eli McNulty work within the E-ring's Special Operations Division, coordinating missions worldwide. The series faced tough competition from popular shows like *Lost*, *Criminal Minds*, *American Idol*, and *Unan1mous*. Despite an earlier time slot boosting ratings, NBC canceled *E-Ring* during the February sweeps and officially pulled it from the schedule in May.
