Description:
Caillou is a popular Canadian children's show based on books by Christine L'Heureux and Hélène Desputeaux. The animated series began with a grandmother figure introducing stories to her grandchildren before reading them. Now, the show focuses on Caillou's adventures. Premiering in 1998 on Canada's Teletoon, Caillou quickly became a favorite worldwide, including a successful launch on PBS in the U.S. in 2000. The series has continued with new stories and released a 5th season in 2013.
