Description:

"Gu Jue Zhuan" follows Shang Gu, a former leader of the legendary Four Immortals, who awakens after a 60,000-year trial with no memory of the past. She doesn't recall recent events or Bai Jue, the love she left behind 300 years ago. Unbeknownst to her, Bai Jue sacrificed his own reincarnation to protect her and has waited patiently for her return. As his soul fades, Shang Gu remains devoted, vowing to wait for him forever. This romantic fantasy, first announced in 2014 as "Shang Gu," has faced production challenges. It's based on Xing Ling's popular xianxia novel of the same name, which was first published in 2012.
